Our hotel’s inhalation therapies use the salt-bromine-iodine thermal water of Abano Terme to naturally support respiratory health. Inhalations, aerosols, and nasal showers are recommended as part of treatment programs for sinusitis, rhinitis, pharyngitis, and bronchitis, as well as for those who simply wish to breathe more easily and protect themselves from the effects of smog, smoke, and seasonal changes. The treatments are suitable for adults and children and are performed in a professional, controlled environment.

We are affiliated with the National Health System: by presenting a referral from your primary care physician, you are eligible for one course of inhalation and aerosol treatments per year. The treatments are administered using Abano thermal water in dedicated facilities under medical supervision, providing tangible support in the prevention and treatment of major respiratory conditions.

Where is the inhalation therapy department located and what are the opening times?

It is located inside the Beauty Farm (first floor), easily accessible by using the dedicated elevators. It is open every day from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. We kindly remind you that a reservation is required for inhalation treatments.

Is Hotel Savoia Thermæ & Spa contracted with the ASL for thermal therapies? Which therapies are included and what is the cost of the ticket?

Yes, Hotel Savoia Thermæ & Spa embraces Abano’s long-standing thermal tradition and is fully affiliated with the ASL for the provision of inhalation therapies, mud treatments and therapeutic thermal baths. To access treatments under the ASL agreement, the prescription issued by your general practitioner must clearly indicate the treatment, the number of sessions, the specific medical condition and the relevant national treatment code:

89.90.2 for mud treatments + thermal baths, indicated for osteoarthritis, osteoporosis or extra-articular rheumatic conditions;
89.91.2 for inhalation therapies, indicated for bronchitis, rhinitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis or sinusitis.

The agreement covers one treatment cycle per calendar year, choosing between 12 mud treatments and/or thermal baths or 12 inhalation sessions + 12 aerosol sessions. Inhalation therapies covered by the ASL agreement are available exclusively to guests staying at the hotel. External clients may nevertheless access inhalation treatments without ASL coverage at a cost of €10.00 per session, plus €36.00 for the medical examination. Mud treatments and thermal baths covered by the ASL agreement are also available to external clients. The ASL co-payment is €55.00, reduced to €3.10 for guests who qualify for exemption based on age and income or for health-related reasons.

Where and when can I find the hotel doctor?

To begin your treatment path with the utmost serenity, the property's medical director receives guests every morning at the medical clinic located on the first floor (Room No. 11). To find out the exact hours or for any other need, our reception staff is at your complete disposal with their customary warm hospitality.
