among the Cities of Art
Abano Terme is located in the heart of the Veneto region, in the province of Padua at the base of the Euganean Hills. Abano Terme is ideal start point to reach in a short time:

Padua - just 12 km away
The birthplace of the arts and sciences, with its ancient university (1.222) and the oldest Botanic Garden in the world, the literary Caffè Pedrocchi, the heaving markets set up around the imposing bulk of Palazzo della Ragione, but also Saint Anthony’s Sanctuary, where the ark that encloses its precious Saint is a gem with 42 different types of marble, or the Scrovegni Chapel, frescoed with Giotto’s precious colours and considered his absolute masterpiece.

Venice - 55 km
The most beautiful and romantic city in the world, with its little islands, bridges and alleyways where to get lost and discover the “bàcari” bars, which offer tasty snacks and the spritz, to reach, at the end, Saint Mark’s Square, where the Doge’s Palace is reflected in the water.

Vicenza - 40 km
The white Renaissance city, Andrea Palladio’s land of adoption, with its famous Teatro Olimpico or the Palladian Basilica which hosts interesting exhibitions.
