Is it possible to create an online quote?

Getting your customized quote is quick and easy and involves no commitment. By setting the date of arrival and departure, the number of adults/kids and the desired dining treatment in the “Online Booking” bar, you can access all our offers.

Is it possible to book online?

Booking directly from our website is simple and convenient. By entering data in the “Online Booking” bar you will have access to real-time availability and prices. We always guarantee the best price!

Why is it better to book from our official website than from another online portal (Ex. Booking.com, Expedia)?

Booking directly on our website will entitle you to more benefits:

  • Access to exclusive offers;
  • tourist tax included;
  • Check-in from 2 p.m. (instead of 3 p.m.);
  • Check-out at 12:00 noon (instead of 10:30 a.m.);
  • no down payment, you pay at the hotel;

Why do prices vary from day to day?

Prices vary according to room availability, so they may change according to demand. Normally, the earlier a reservation is made, the better the rate found will be.

Do you need a credit card to make a reservation?

A credit card is required for each reservation. In reservations that do not require prepayment, it is used as a guarantee, and no charges are made except in case of non-cancellation.

What are the terms of payment and cancellation?

Conditions regarding payment and cancellation vary depending on the offer selected.

  • Scalapay: is an innovative payment method that allows you to buy and pay in 3 convenient equal installments with a monthly due date. First installment: at the time of purchase; second installment: 1 month from the day of purchase; third and final installment: 2 months from the day of purchase. Nonrefundable.
  • Free Cancellation: Reservation can be freely changed or freely cancelled up to 48 hours before check-in (h.14:00 on arrival day).
  • BeSafe Rate Plus: rate with included insurance that guarantees reimbursement of up to 100 percent of the stay in case of cancellation due to unforeseen events, medical expense coverage, assistance during the trip, and more. Read the information sheet.

What is a pre-clearance?

Pre-authorization IS NOT A DEBIT and allows an amount to be “reserved” to verify the validity and financial coverage of the credit card issued by the customer at the time of booking. This ensures that the amount is available for final booking confirmation. If you choose the “Free cancellation” rate, a pre-authorization equal to the cost of the first night’s stay will be made. Conditions regarding payment and cancellation vary depending on the offer selected.

  • When is pre-authorization done by the Hotel?
    The hotel will perform card verification at any time. In the case of prepaid cards, we recommend checking the availability of funds on the card.
  • What happens if pre-clearance is denied?
    If the card verification is unsuccessful, you will be asked to provide a new card with the required amount within 24 hours. If a new card is not provided or is provided again with insufficient balance the reservation is automatically cancelled.
  • What happens at check-out?
    At check-out you can still pay by your preferred method. Should you proceed to settle the bill by cash, ATM or other card, the Hotel will proceed to CANCEL the pre-authorization and the amount will return to the card within 48-72 hours depending on the bank and circuit used.
    Or you can request CLOSURE of the pre-authorization, effectively charging the amount booked to the credit card used at the time of booking. To close pre-authorization, you must be the cardholder and have the card in your possession at the time of check-out. In case the physical card cannot be shown, the pre-authorization will be canceled and it will be necessary to settle the account with another card, ATM, cash, etc.
  • Bank messages
    If you have SMS alerts turned on (i.e., if you receive messages every time your card is used for a payment), be aware that sometimes pre-authorizations are “swapped out” and treated as actual payments. This means that when a pre-authorization is applied many banks send the exact same SMS that you would receive if you had made a payment. This causes a lot of confusion because the person may think that he or she has been charged an amount when in fact it is a pre-authorization, that is, only a temporary block equal to the cost of the first night’s stay. In the prepaid card transaction list, pre-authorizations are sometimes categorized into “pre-authorized transactions” or “pending transactions.”

How can I know if the reservation is confirmed?

Upon completion of the reservation you will receive an automatically generated email with the confirmation number and summary of reserved services.

Is it possible to change reservations online?

You can change or cancel your reservation independently on our site. You will receive an email confirming the change or cancellation. In any case, our customer service department is always available from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm.

Do you have a service department?

What credit cards are accepted?

American Express, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, CartaSi, Carte Bleue, Maestro and JCG. Paypal.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

Yes, our rooms are all non-smoking. For those who like to smoke, rooms with balconies are available.

What does “Adult-Teen Hotel” mean?

We welcome guests 13 years of age and older.

Our desire is to provide a serene and relaxing environment where couples, singles and parents can enjoy intimate and peaceful moments.

Are there any discounts for kids?

For a personalized quote for your homestay, simply enter the age of the child in the appropriate request field in the “Online Booking” bar.

Are animals accepted?

Our 4-legged friends (small dogs/cats) are welcome! We have rooms with parquet floors available for them. For only 20€ they will be guaranteed a special welcome!
Below are some simple rules that will ensure a comfortable stay for all our guests:

  • We ask that you use a leash within the common areas;
  • our little four-legged friends will not have access to indoor and outdoor pools, bar, restaurant, spa and beauty farm;
  • we ask that you do not leave them unattended in the room with the possibility of them causing a disturbance;
  • staff is available on the floor with whom you can make arrangements for daily room cleaning times. We ask that you leave the dog/cat inside the carrier during cleaning hours so that the maid can ensure a flawless tidy up;
  • Any damage caused by the pet will be charged.

The requested daily fee will be used for room cleaning upon your departure; thus, a stay from maximum comfort will be guaranteed for the next guests as well!

Check-in / Check-out

What time is the room available?

The room will be available to you from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival (3:30 p.m. Bridges and Holidays). We recommend not arriving before noon (especially on weekends), as the room is guaranteed from 2:00 pm (bathrobe and towel will be delivered with the room).

Is it possible to have lunch in a restaurant on the day of arrival if the room is not yet available?

Full board starts with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with lunch on the day of departure. Variation request must be communicated by the day before arrival so you can access our restaurant and enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our dedicated chef.

What time should the room be vacated on the day of departure?

The room must be vacated by 12:00 noon if the reservation was made directly on the website www.savoiaterme.it or with a hotel operator, for all other reservation methods instead at 10:30 am.

With late check-out (€40.00 per person), room use will be provided until 9:00 p.m., subject to availability.

Is it possible to use the thermal pools and spa after check-out?

If you wish to use the thermal pools and spa on the day of departure, after check-out time, an additional fee of €20.00 per person is required (a code locker in the dedicated locker room will be granted). There are no additional charges for customers booking late check-out.

Does the hotel have a parking lot?

Yes. Large free private parking lot with uncovered spaces (covered € 10.00 per day).

Is there luggage storage available?

Next to the reception, a convenient room will be able to accommodate your luggage both on the day of your arrival if your room is not yet ready, and on the day of your departure if you wish to stay at the hotel or for a walk around the city of Abano Terme.

Is there a Wi-fi internet service?

The hotel has free Wi-Fi network throughout the hotel. To gain access you are asked to register by entering in the appropriate fields: first name, last name, room number and date of birth.

What dining services does the hotel offer?

Breakfast 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. | Lunch 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Dinner 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (breakfast room/restaurant entry).

Dress code

    long pants are required for men only. In June and August, short pants may be used ONLY at lunch (no swimsuit, flip-flops, tank top).

Is there a transfer service to and from the airport or to and from the train station?

Transfers to and from Venice airport are arranged upon request. From Padua and Terme Euganee train station, it is possible to reach the hotel by cab service or by buses on the “Colli” line.

Is it possible to customize the living room?

What services to the disabled does the hotel offer?

Hotel Savoia Thermæ & SPA is a fully accessible, barrier-free facility. For our guests with mobility difficulties we have:

  • 65 sq. m. room with 2 bathrooms, one of which is equipped for the disabled with a walk-in shower with a fold-down seat and grab bars to facilitate walking;
  • Elevator enabled for wheelchairs;
  • Free reserved car parking (with appropriate handicap badge);
  • Electrohydraulic lift for pool access;
  • Handrails around the entire perimeter of the indoor and outdoor pool;
  • Physician present daily at the facility;
  • Tourist tax exemption with certification according to law.

Wellness center

When and where should I book spa, wellness and beauty treatments?

We recommend reserving treatments at the time of room reservation to have more service and time availability. Treatments can be booked by calling 049.82.31.111 and asking for the spa managers, who are present daily from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., or by writing your request to e-mail: spa@savoiaterme.it.

Can kids (13+) have access to the health club?

Children (13+) can access, without any contraindications, the thermal pools and relaxation areas, accompanied by their parents and remembering that silence is required for general well-being. Instead, access is not allowed to the SPA with Finnish sauna, steam room, experience showers, Kneipp path, and fitness room.

What are the opening hours of the health club?

Thermal pools: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
SPA: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Fitness room: 8 a.m.-11 p.m.

Is a swimming cap mandatory in the pool?

No, the headset is not mandatory.

Is it possible to access the spa and spa as an outside guest?

Admission to the pools is possible while seats last, even for those with a gift certificate. Included in the rates is access to the Spa & SPA area, which includes the two communicating indoor and outdoor thermal pools with whirlpool, the outdoor thermal pool with room-temperature water, and entrance to the SPA with Finnish sauna, thermal steam bath, Kneipp path, and experience showers.
